Spotify Streaming Integration — In-App Playback with Cross-Platform Playlist Sync
We integrated Spotify streaming directly into Sonar, allowing users to listen to tracks in-app and create playlists without switching platforms. This made music discovery more immediate and reduced friction between browsing and listening.
Apple Music Integration — Optimized MusicKit Playback & Playlist Synchronization
We improved the existing Apple Music integration and introduced playlist synchronization between Apple Music and Spotify. Users can now move seamlessly between both services while keeping their playlists aligned.
Social Music Feed — AI-Powered Echo Playlists, Swipe Discovery, Chat & Artist Leaderboards
To strengthen the social layer of the app, we expanded interaction tools across the platform. Users can browse a personalized music feed, like tracks, leave comments, and chat with others in dedicated chatrooms. We also developed leaderboard functionality that highlights top artists and the most-added tracks, helping surface trends and drive engagement.
