EyeBuild puts solar-powered security cameras on construction sites as a monthly service. Fora Soft built the web platform behind them from scratch: live video, AI alerts when a person or vehicle shows up, recordings and remote camera control in one dashboard.

Built for sites with no Wi-Fi or mains power

A construction site often has no Wi-Fi and no mains power, and no one can watch a camera feed all night. EyeBuild needed software for cameras that run on solar power and cellular data and flag people and vehicles on their own, so the operator looks only when something happens.
The cameras are EyeBuild's own hardware. Our part is the software: the dashboard on React and Next.js, the backend and API on NestJS, live video in Full HD over LiveKit and WebRTC. FFmpeg handles recording, and footage is kept both locally and in the cloud.
AI motion detection picks out people and vehicles in the frame. Each detection becomes an event in RabbitMQ, and Socket.io and WebSocket push the alert to the operator's screen. MongoDB stores camera data and events.

An eye that watches the site

The logo is an eye with signal arcs: a camera that watches the site and sends what it sees over a cellular link.

Alerts on people and vehicles

When detection spots a person or a vehicle, the operator gets an alert in real time and can switch to that camera's live view.

Solar-powered cameras

Each camera has its own solar panel and battery and connects over cellular data, so the site needs no power line and no Wi-Fi. Footage is stored locally and kept in the cloud for 30 days.

Live view and recordings

Operators watch several cameras at once from a laptop, tablet or phone browser. Recordings stay available for playback, and timelapse clips show how construction progresses.

PTZ control and analytics

The operator pans, tilts and zooms a camera from the dashboard, with no trip to the site. The analytics dashboard collects events and camera data.

What the builder gets

Site security becomes a monthly service. EyeBuild installs the cameras, often the same day, and our platform delivers live video, alerts and recordings. Operators respond to events instead of watching screens. EyeBuild cameras guard construction projects with billions of dollars in assets.

Delivery and outcome

EyeBuild builds solar-powered cameras with edge AI. Fora Soft developed the software platform behind them from the ground up, connecting every camera to a unified system for live video monitoring, person and vehicle detection, alerts, cloud recording, timelapse, and site management through a web dashboard. Today, the platform helps protect billions of dollars’ worth of construction assets across Arizona.
